Throughout history, nursing has been required to respond to changing technological and social forces. Today, more than ever, we require nurse professionals who are knowledgeable, skilled and competent in all aspects of management. The nurse professional’s role is increasingly critical to the provision of effective quality patient care. To confront times of change, and meet expanding responsibilities and demands, nurse professionals must take on new dimensions, innovations to facilitate quality outcomes in patient care and meet other strategic institutional goals and objectives.

We will be delighted to have your august presence at International Nursing Conclave 2018 on ‘Leading Nursing in Times of Change: Art, Science and Innovation’, scheduled to be held from October 29- 31, 2018 at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. The organizers of the conclave have zeroed in on an apt theme for the conclave as in the fast paced demanding health care scenario, nurse leaders and professionals must cultivate the knack for innovation, update theoretical and clinical skills, have financial and political acumen in all disciplines of nursing care, viz, Public and Community health, Obstetricsand Gynecology, Mental Health, Pediatrics and Medical Surgical Nursing. Nurses must be prepared to be critical thinkers and ready to welcome change, thrive in unstable and imperfect health care settings and create supportive systems for others. Keeping up with the theme of the conclave, we have mobilized and invited a slew of noted and eminent expert nurse leaders and speakers who have held creditable national and international repute.

Oral scientific presentation and poster presentation will be selected by the scientific committee based on the scientific merit, quality and relevance to the theme of the Conclave. Nurse practitioners, researchers, academicians from all over the world are invited to present their research work at this global platform. The International Conclave will be an excellent confluence for the young and novice nurse professionals and researchers to meet with the world renowned, expert and eminent nurse leaders, professionals and researchers from across the length and breadth of India and the globe.

The conclave will be a melting pot of innovative and emerging themes and issues in nursing, with focus on the core knowledge and skills and major advances in ever-evolving field of nursing. The interface with the global nurse leaders and experts, is bound to pave way for an era of innovative and scientific nursing practices with nurse professionals and leaders making a noticeable dent in healthcare delivery system. Ways in which nurses can be politically effective, either individually or as a member of an organization will be highlighted. Brainstorming sessions by expert nurse leaders is another salient feature of the Conclave, through which we plan to chart a roadmap to nursing practice, innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship in nursing
